Discussion
- The list of steps (sections 2.1 and 3.1) given in the Metastorm BPM Release 7.5 SR1 Product Localization Guide dated July 2007 has been revised and expanded as follows. Consult the Product Localization Guide for detailed information on implementing these steps.
- Request the language text resource file from the Metastorm Help Desk.
- Translate the strings in the language text resource file sent by Metastorm. Save this as String..txt. NOTE: This must be saved as a text file with UTF-8 encoding.
- Create the new assembly, Metastorm.Web.Resources.resources.dll, using the public key for signing. NOTE: You must use the assembly version and not the file version of Metastorm.Web.Resources.dll when executing the command to create the new assembly.
- Return the new file, Metastorm.Web.Resources.resources.dll, to Metastorm for private key signing.
- After the file has been returned from Metastorm and is now signed with the public and private keys, copy it to the correct location. Make sure the group Users has Read & Execute and Read permissions for the file.
- Translate the strings in the JavaScript language resource file to the target language.
- If you're using SharePoint Web Parts, create the corresponding language help files.
- Restart the Internet Information Services (IIS).
