Error - 1000 with SSO URL

Issue

• An external URL such as the following is used to access a Metastorm BPM procedure (in this case, the Flight procedure) when SSO is configured:

  http://localhost/MetastormSSO/eexternalform.asp?service=Metastorm BPM Server&redirect=http://localhost/Metastorm/eform.aspx?map=flight%26service=Metastorm BPM Server%26client=external

  Instead of the blank form, the following message is displayed:

  Single Sign-on Error
  Error - 1000
  Description - Unexpected anonymous connection detected, unable to authenticate user to Metastorm BPM services
  Source - eExternalForm

Resolution

1. In the IIS Manager, go to Default Web Site --> MetastormSSO --> eExternalForm.asp.

2. Right-click and select Properties --> File Security --> Authentication and access control.

3. Uncheck Enable anonymous access, and make sure Integrated Windows authentication is checked.

4. Save the changes. If necessary, restart IIS.
