Editable Grid and Tab Order

Issue

• When submitting a large form that contains an editable grid, a user may encounter the following errors:
  In the browser:

  1. Error processing editable grid field.
  2. Failed to commit action.

  In the Designer log:
  '%currenteditgrid' failed while evaluating expression '%System.CurrentEditGrid' Variable System.CurrentEditGrid access failed. Position: 37

  In the Windows event log:
  Invalid non-printable character found in an xml fragment. It it strongly recommended that a suitable alternative is used, otherwise, the performance will be impacted.

Resolution

• Make sure the editable grid is one of the first 99 elements by tab order on the form. You can verify this by checking the 'Tab order' on the 'Form' tab of the form's properties. This will be fixed in a future hotfix or release.
