Workgroup Information File is Missing

The information in this article applies to product: e-Work 5.x

Issue

  • When trying to connect to the database with an e-Work DSN using an Access / Jet engine install (in the Designer or with an e-Work utility), a message appears stating 'Workgroup Information File is Missing'.

Resolution

  • This error is caused by misauthentication to the Access database file. Either a username and password were submitted when not necessary, or an incorrect username and password were used.
