Deliver Alerts Via E-mail Fails With SSO

Issue

Windows Single Sign-on (SSO) is configured, and Deliver alerts via e-mail is checked for users in the Users and Roles utility. The Process Engine sends e-mail alerts as expected, but the link in the e-mail fails to open the folder and the message No folder pages available may be displayed.

In the registry on the Process Engine server, change the value of HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Metastorm\\e-work\\Engine\\BROWSERPROTOCOL. If the default value is, for example, http://BPMServer/Metastorm/, it should be changed to http://BPMServer/MetastormSSO/eexternalform.asp?Service=Metastorm BPM Server&redirect=http://BPMServer/Metastorm/

Note that the Service name is case-sensitive and must be spelled exactly as shown in the EngineServiceConfig.xml file. The default location for this file is C:\\Program Files\\Metastorm BPM\\IIS extensions. Replace any spaces in the service name with %20.
Restart the Engine to effect the change.
