Issue
- e-Work was installed with MAPI selected to send mail. What changes are needed to use SMTP instead?
Resolution
- The SMTP service must be installed and running on the Engine server. See kb497 for more information on configuring an SMTP server.
- Change the value of Connector in the following registry key on the Engine server:
HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Metastorm\\e-work\\Engine\\MailConnector
Refer to the Administration Guide for the connection string. See the Installation Guide for the options available within this string.
- Restart the e-Work Engine service.
