Issue
- A user goes to Excel Options --> Add-Ins --> Manage: Smart Tags and checks the Metastorm BPM Smart Tag Recognizer. After OK is clicked, the checkbox becomes unchecked.
Resolution
- Close Excel.
- Open the Run dialog and start regedit.exe to open the Windows registry.
- Navigate to HKEY\_CURRENT\_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Office\\Common\\Smart Tag\\Recognizers\\Metastorm.Office2007Client.ProcessSmartTag.ProcessSmartTagRecognizer.
- Delete the DWORD named XLMAIN.
