Storing AREAVPATH in generated file

I am looking for a suggestion. We are interested in embedding the TeamSite location (AREAVPATH) a file is located in in the generated HTML file so it will be easier finding the content as we bring future developers onboard.

I was wondering if there is an automagic way to include AREAVPATH by adding some iwov code to the presentation template or are we looking at adding a manually entered field in the DCT?

It is trivial, you do not need to change the DCT, just your TPL

something like this:

my $DCR = iwpt_get_dcr_name();
$DCR =~ s/\\/\//g;

[/html]

Filter out whatever you want to from there.

Why dont you store it as a metadata item? Check the CLT iwextattr. You can automatically attach it through your page generation process.

If I understand the question correctly - Nipper's answer is probably correct.
My understanding is that you want this information embedded in the generated output so that when you view the source of the file after it's been deployed to your web site you can determine where the source of the file (the DCR) lives within TeamSite - yes?

If that is not what you meant - please elaborate.
