Issue
- The e-Work Engine was installed on the same server as the SQL Server e-Work database. This created a dependency for the Engine service on MS SQL Server. After moving the SQL Server database from the server running the e-Work Engine, how can this dependency be removed?
Resolution
- Edit the registry key 'HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\e-Work Engine'. Remove the value 'MSSQLServer' from 'DependOnService'.
