Active Directory

We are in the middle of implementing TeamSite 5.5.2. We are trying to determine if fighting the AD schema extension fight is worthwhile. Could somebody share specific benefits or problems with adding TeamSite roles to AD?

From reading your post, I feel that you are planning to manage roles in AD as well. I have not used AD with TS 5.5x platform. However I have used it with TS 5.0.1 with roles managed in AD. The only issue that I have faced at that time was that Teamsite was unable to add/modify roles from the ADMIN GUI. It was the same problem with OD Admin GUI. I am not sure if that has been fixed since then.
