HTTP 500 Error When Upgrading From e-Work 6.x to 6.x
The information in this article applies to product: e-Work 6.0 6.1 6.2
Issue
- After upgrading within e-Work version 6 (e.g. from e-Work 6.0 to 6.1 or from 6.1 to 6.2), an HTTP 500 error may be displayed when trying to bring up the e-Work login page.
Resolution
- Upgrading within v6 can occasionally create a version mismatch. To fix this, do the following:
Go to your registry and delete the following key: HKEY\_CLASSES\_ROOT\\CLSID\\\{CEBD80C8-D511-40B0-B6EC-27B6B8ABE951\}.
In Windows Explorer, go to :\\Program Files\\Metastorm e-Work\\Web6\\DotNet
Run eWeb.NET.bat by double-clicking it. This will re-register all of the .NET assemblies.
Restart the IIS service.
Try logging in to e-Work.
