Issue
Users cannot download attached files when Oracle WebGate is used. An error message similar to the following may be seen in Internet Explorer:
Internet Explorer cannot download ...000000000000000000000002456 from www.mycompany.com.
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.
Resolution
- The setting for CachePragmaHeader and CacheControlHeader in the WebGate configuration may need to be changed from the default of no-cache to public. See this article for more information: Configuring WebGates and Access Servers.
