Issue
- e-Work is installed on a machine running Windows XP but e-mail is not being sent even though an SMTP mail connector is set up.
Resolution
Microsoft has dropped the CDO for NTS dll (CDONTS.DLL) from this platform. However, it is possible to take a copy of this file from a Windows NT or 2000 server and copy it to the XP machine. Register the file with regsrv32 . The SMTP connector should now work.
Later versions of e-Work include CDONTS.dll as part of the e-Work installation.
