WSMP5 Connectors displaying in main workspace tab

I have a workspace with multiple projects as tabs. When I try to add a connector to any of the projects it shows up in the main workspace tab.

I have to manually move it from the main workspace to the project I intended it to go.

Is this a bug or is it possible that I am doing something wrong?

Make sure to check that you are adding the project to the correct location. In Worksite MP 5.0 when you are on a project and you want to add an object to that project you need to make sure that you select the drop down box on the project tab to add content. Where the "New" button on the page, regardless of what page you are on, creates a new object within the parent workspace.
