URL to Open Forms with Internet Explorer When Using Win32 Clients

Issue

• A Win32 client, e.g. Notify, is configured with the option Open Forms with Internet Explorer. The URL specified is http:///eScripts/eweb.dll. However, when trying to open a folder, the user is presented with an error message similar to the following:

  Server Error in '/escripts' Application.
  The resource cannot be found.
  Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
  Requested URL: /eScripts/eweb.dll. /eFolder.aspx
  Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.42; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.42

Resolution

• For Metastorm BPM version 7, the URL should be http:///Metastorm.
