Corruption of Procedure File When Closed During Save
The information in this article applies to product: e-Work 6.0 6.1 6.2 6.5
Issue
- If a user closes a procedure using the Windows 'X' button while it is being saved, the file may be corrupted. Attempts to open the saved file may generate the messages "This procedure contains no roles information. Default roles have been created." or "This procedure contains no flags information. Flags information has been created."
Resolution
- To recover the procedure, delete the corrupt file (it's probably much smaller than the original) and rename the .!pc or .!ep file to .epc or .xep, respectively. Or retrieve the latest version from the database. Starting with e-Work 6.6, it isn't possible to close the procedure this way while it is being saved.
