Non U.S. English Characters Cannot Be Used in Map Names

Issue

• Non U.S. English characters cannot be used in the map name in the Designer.

Resolution

• The following is a list of fields and whether they support non U.S. English characters:

  Field names – Not allowed
  Role names – Not allowed
  Flag names – Not allowed
  Custom variable names – Not allowed
  External table names – Not allowed
  External table column names – Not allowed
  Map names – Not allowed
  Form names - Allowed
  Scripting – allowed in the scripts themselves, but not in the name of the script
