Simulation Wizard Fails When Library Contains Map Segment

Issue

• When the Simulation Wizard is run in the Process Designer and the procedure uses a library that contains a map segment, the Wizard fails and generates the following message:

  Unable to cast object of type 'Metastorm.Envision.BpmProcess.MapSegment' to type 'Metastorm.Envision.BpmProcess.Map'.
  Failed to create simulation process.

• The PVW file (ProVision Notebook file) is not created. No errors are written to the Designer log or Windows event log.

Resolution

• This is a known issue.
