Issue
- If the default DSN named Metastorm is deleted or renamed, attempting to start the Process Designer, Services Manager, or System Administrator causes the Windows installer to run.
Resolution
The DSN named Metastorm must not be deleted or renamed.
If another DSN is desired, it should be added using the Windows ODBC administrative tool. This new DSN can then be selected when using the Designer and utilities.
To have the Process Engine use the new DSN, open the Metastorm BPM System Administrator. Expand Metastorm Engines, right-click on the desired Engine, select Database..., enter the connection details, and click OK.
