Folders Stuck at System Stage

Issue

  • Folders are stuck at system stages. Errors in the Windows Application log read: "Database problem while doing: Opening eWait table to determine next timeout. m\_nRetCode: -1, m\_strError: 'Your transaction (process ID \#xx) was deadlocked with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun your transaction.'"

Resolution

  • If you are using e-Work 5.4, install Service Release 2 (5.4.0.2c) or later.
  • If you are using e-Work 5.2, install hotfix 5.2.0.176f.
