Error Trying to Create CDONTS Object in e-Work

Issue

• Using the %Email function within e-Work fails and generates the following error: 'Unexpected exception occurred while trying to send SMTP message. Reason: Object already exists.'

  Using a script to send mail with CDONTS within e-Work also fails, and the following error is logged in the Designer log: 'Unable to execute specified script. Reason 'Error(-2146893809) : Object already exists., at line 16, character 4. Source: Unavailable.'

  Using the same script outside of e-Work is successful.

Resolution

• This should be resolved by setting the appropriate permissions on \\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\Microsoft\\Crypto\\RSA\\Machinekeys. See the Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q294274 for details.
