Generating a file with the fileName entered in DCT

Hi friends,
I have to generate a file on the click of the generate button with the name as entered in a field in DCT. I am attaching the code I have written for this. It works fine but the thing is I have to hardcode the extension and also the path where I am storing the generated pages. Is there anyway that it reads the extension from templating.cfg? and an alternate not to hardcode the path?

Haven't had a look at your code, but you can use the following FormAPI function for the extension of the file:
[html]string IWPresentationTemplate.getExtension ()[/html]

What is the source of *initial path*? If you are trying to get it from templating.cfg you can use IWDatacapture.callServer method
and either parse templating.cfg yourself or find nomadic "DTemplateParse.pm" on the DevNet to help you with that.
