Error Importing Form Created With Adobe Acrobat 7

Issue

• When importing an external PDF form created with Adobe Acrobat 7, the e-Work Designer generates the following error message:

  Failed to read the external form
  Cannot parse the PDF form.
  Could not parse acroform

Resolution

• Forms built from scratch with Adobe Designer 7 cannot be read by e-Work. However, if you start with a document built in an earlier version of Adobe Designer or if you start with a Word document and import it into Adobe 7 and use it as the basis for the form, then e-Work can read the form. The Adobe 7 Designer builds the form differently depending on the source of the form.
