Thanks for your replies. One more thing i have to do is "generate the js file" through .tpl file. I tried this by hardcode the javascript code in tpl file and change the default html extension to js in templating.cfg. now as i generate the output file its ask me to save that js file on local disk or open it on spot.. so m not able to save it in teamsite as html get saved. Is this the right way or not to do this???in any case..plz give me suggestions.Thanks.
This is a completely different thread. You should start a new one in this forum. Your requirement seem to be messed up, nothing is making sense, so I suggest you recheck the requirements, put together a use case and post your question there. Finally ask your boss to hire someone who knows what they are doing, because you are going to need a lot of help.
Hi, 1. "iw-store" As nipper said make sure that the store is frozen before taking the backup. 2. If the store is too big and on production, your backup may take long time so be prepared for the downtime. Else use snapshot. 3. "iw-home" nothing special if you only want to bakup & restore the codes, But if you want to ensure that you can get back the complete running system from the backed-up iw-home, you may have to re-think your strategy.4. There are files outside iw-home as well, like /etc/. also ensure that the complete system is backed -up like system users , etc. 5. To restore the complete system can be tricky but to restore the iw-store is failry simple except the user permissionsRegards,
