Please refer to the below regarding browser requirements for Metastorm Community Central:
Fully Supported
This means that all features and functions of the application, including administrative and "power user" functions, must work without visual disharmony and with full JavaScript support:
Firefox 3.0 (Mac, Windows, Linux)
Firefox 3.5 (Windows, Mac, Linux)
IE 7
IE 8 (support both compatibility modes)
Supported, With Qualification
All end-user facing features and functions should work, and should display properly, with all JavaScript enabled. There may, however, be instances where third party components embedded in the application do not function properly. We should make commercially reasonable efforts to remedy this, but in some cases we will be dependent upon updates to those third party libraries. In these cases, there should be graceful degradation. Administrative actions are not tested or officially supported on these browsers.
Chrome (Windows)
Safari 3.1 (Mac and Windows)
Safari 4.0 (Mac)
Opera 9.5 (Windows)
Partially Supported, Degraded Experience
This means that core features of the application are consistently accessible: navigation, reading of messages, core personalization, and message posting, function.
The visual standard that we will adhere to is: if you can look at a page without having seen it in other browsers and it looks reasonable, then that is sufficient. If it looks broken, that is not sufficient. The absence of an AJAX or DHTML UI is acceptable if the functionality can be accessed otherwise. Administrative actions are not tested or officially supported on these browsers. If necessary, we may disallow a user with an unsupported browser from seeing the administrative control.
IE 6.0 (Windows)
