Purpose of the hotfix:

This hotfix addresses the following issues:

 

• If a procedure that contains scripts is open in the Process Designer, and an attempt is made to open another procedure, however the open file dialog is cancelled, the scripts in the original procedure will disappear. (SR-06112009-0003, PF34923)  (Metastorm \# SR-06112009-0003, PF34923)
• Accented characters are not processed correctly via Web Services support (Metastorm \# SR-06262007-0008, PF32151)

 

Implications of the hotfix and other considerations:

 

Databases need to be setup with appropriate character set (for example East European character set) to support specific characters.

Installation:

To apply this hotfix:

1. Close the Metastorm Process Designer
2. Run the hotfix installation
3. Restart IIS.

 

Note that it is not possible to uninstall this hotfix independently of the full install.
