How database stuff attach to content is deployed?

(Using TeamSite, LiveSite, OpenDeploy)

Deploying content on several ODrcvr targets with LSruntime will update the database tables in schema LSRUNTIME.

Does someone know how those updates are done by the OD receivers?
- Which receiver will do the update?
- could we configure one receiver to do the update?
- is it possible to put one receiver on the database server to only perform the DB actions during deployment of content?

I haven't worked with LiveSite yet - so I'm only guessing here...
I would assume that there is either a DNR script or a dbLoader element in the deployment configuration used to distribute the content files from TeamSite to the receivers (which, from your description, I'm assuming is a fan-out deployment)

If that's the case - and the issue is that you only want the LS/DB update to happen once per deployment and not once per leg-of-deployment, then I think there are at least three possible options:
