Uploading Images to Gallery While Retaining Transparent Background

Is it possible to upload a graphic into the Image Gallery and retain the image's transparent background?  I have tried several different ways to do this and have not had any success.  The core Provision EA object images backgrounds appear to be transparent as the connection points "hit" the actual image and not a white rectangle surrounding it. 

 

Does anybody know how to do this?

Unfortunately at this time ProVision doesn't support .GIF transparency (or .PNG for that matter).  This is an issue that we have recorded as a bug.

 

As a workaround you could try changing the swimlane coloring to match the background of your image.
