Metastorm web client is showing blank page after successful login.

Hi All,

 

 

 

I have installed Metastorm BPM v9 on windows Server 2008 with SP2, with SQL server 2008 for the first time. All the installations are done with out any errors.

I am able to successfully create a simple project in designer and also deploy it.

I am able to login to the Metastorm administration using the sysadmin login credentials. Also able to create new users. I can also see the deployed project in the administration repository.

I have an issue in the Metastorm Web Client, I am able to login to the web client using the sysadmin credentials but after login I am seeing a blank page on the the internet explorer. It is not giving any error message also.

Further in the installation guide, in troubleshooting section there is a similar kind of issue mentioned, but this didn't work out too.

I have followed all the installation prerequisites, installation steps as mentioned in the installation guide.

 

Please find the screen shot of the web client blank page after the successful login.

 

Could anyone please suggest a workaround.  Please let me kow if you need any additional information.

Hi,

 

Did you enable localization during the install?

 

Please try the following, locate the "Web.Config" file in "C:\Program Files\Metastorm\BPM\Web"

 

Open and find the following:

 

<globalization culture="en-US" uiCulture="en" requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" fileEncoding="utf-8"></globalization>

 

and alter it as in the following:

 

<globalization culture="auto" uiCulture="auto" requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" fileEncoding="utf-8"></globalization>

 

Note the change to "auto"...

 

Save the altered Web.Config file...

 

Now try browsing to the Web Client again (I don't think an IIS reset is necessary)...
