Data Interface

Hi,

 

We have been trying to show interfaces between two data objects belonging to 2 different systems, but in vain. We have tried using the deployment model. But, it doesnt allow usage of systems. I have illustrated the requirement in the attached presentation.

 

We also want to be able to show which attribute belonging to the data object is interfaced. e.g Out of 5 attributes, we want to show only 3 being interfaced with another data object in the second system.

 

In case, any one knows of an alternate model, please let me know.

Hello Sriram,

 

I would use the Navigator Model to help show the system interactions and business class objects that are interfacing with a certain system interaction. The Navigator has the most relaxed rules and you can use any object in that model.

 

When you go into the Business Class object in the Navigator Model you are going to create for this model, 'uncheck' the attributes that don't apply to the interactions in this model. This will help show only the attributes belonging to the business class in this model and not remove the attributes used for the same business class in another context.
