V9 Side by Side issue

I've installed and configured V9 SideBySide and when I login I see the error "Unable to process database connector /'eExecuteSQL/' request"

If I highlight my To Do list or Watch List, log out and log back in again, it authenticates and displays the alert list. I only seem to encounter the problem when trying to display Blank forms or Admin Forms.

Does anybody know what might be causing the issue?

I haven't seen that specific error, but considering that it is those two lists, my guess is that it is a roles issue.

Yes that's what I suspect too. However I've changed all 37 procedures to only use the static role everybody and it still doesn't work. I guess my next option is to create a clean 7.6 database and see if SideBySide works against that (which it should). Then I can begin publishing the procedures 1 by 1 until I find out which one is causing the problem

Do you happen to know if the 7.6 installation needs SR installed? I've not seen anything in the Migration guide to confirm this.

This does require SR3 although I'm not sure that is your problem. If you give me a PM, I can jump on a Webex and take a look with you.

In Kevin's case, it turned out that the issue was with a dynamic role evaluation on the v9 side that was being used for the Blank Forms. The issue was specifically, with a role that was returning no users. We were able to reproduce and have added a fix that will be in SR2.

Does this sound like an issue you might have?
