Cloning TeamSite
JackIntheBox
Environment: Solaris 10, TS 6.7.1
We have a requirement to clone our TeamSite box as we are building out a new development environment. I have copied over the /etc/passwd, shadow files and have configured the environment from a Solaris perspective. I also just installed TeamSite 6.7.1 and everything went pretty smooth. The question I have is -> What files do I need to copy over to replicate the user permissions?
I see tsusers.xml, iwcache.xml, roles.xml and iwcache.bcp in the
/conf/roles directory. Can someone clarify for me what needs to be done so that the users can log into this box with the same set of permissions as the Production box?
Thanks in advance.

Do you have all your config files seperate ? On an admin or config branch ?
You certainly should.
That makes the promotion of code much easier from Dev to Prod (and back)

Nipper --> No, I do not - but am working on it. However, I have already transferred all the custom config files, workflows, etc. The only thing remaining is transferring users and I am a little unsure about which files I need to move in order to do that.

Hi there,
Please have a check on the uids they must be unique and also gids should be existing in the second m/c.
