populating a column in the grid depending on the selection of another column value

I have to select a value from the column(which of type dropdown) in a grid,on selction of which another column value need to be populated which is also a dropdown.

 

Columns values are coming from two different tables.Does metastorm support this.And will it be possible to use two bussiness object for a single grid?

We've been asking for dropdwons in grids to be 'dynamic', but to no avila so far. I think it would be difficult.

 

There is no way to do what you want here in any supported way, even with fancy client scripting.

 

I'm not sure why you bring up the 'two business objects' question. My immediate answer would be "no, you can't", but you can have another BO for the dropdown options, but you cannnot make an editable grid 'refresh' so it cannot changes based on other grid cell entries.
