We are pleased to announce the availability of Metastorm M3 Version 2.0 on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.
About this Version
Metastorm M3 version 2.0 has many new features, which include:
- Disable Users – User accounts can now be disabled via the User Management widget. Disabling a user prevents the user from logging on to Metastorm M3.
- Improved Link Drawing – Metastorm M3 now supports additional anchor points and improved positioning, making link drawing and positioning easier.
- Multiple Model CIF Export – In one operation, multiple models can now be exported to a CIF file for use in other Metastorm applications.
- Object Comments – Comments can now be added to an object within the context of a model.
- Object Inventory – The Object Inventory now lists all objects within Metastorm M3 for an organization as well as those models in which the objects are used.
- Object Repositioning – Objects can now be repositioned in hierarchy models.
- Object Reuse – Objects can now be reused in multiple models within an organization.
- Print – Models can now be printed in WYSIWYG fashion.
- Reassign Models and Objects – The owner of a model or object can now be reassigned to another user within the same organization.
- Reset Password – The Metastorm M3 sign-in page now displays a "Forgot your password" option, allowing users to reset their own password.
- Unlock Users – A user entering an invalid password five times now locks the user's account. An unlock user account option is now available in the User Management widget.
- Version Descriptions – A version description can now be entered when saving a model and is viewable when moving the pointer over the model version.
- Model Versions - model versions are read-only
- Viewing – Switching between full-screen widget view and mini widget view is now available.
