Tab order list has no 'OK' button

The tab order property for forms is a nice addition (not sure when it was added, but I'm sure it was not there before unless I missed it). The only problem with it is that there is no 'OK' button. For ages I've been using the X button, and that causes it to cancel the changes.

In order to actually save the changes you make in this dialogue, you have to press the drop down button again to close it. I have to say that's a bit unintuitive at best. I actually thought it just didn't work for quite a while.

I think it just needs an OK button.

The forms tab order has actually been there since 9.0 was initially released so is probably one of the very few things you didn't find!

I agree that having an OK button would be nice but wanted to chime in that the other way to "save" your order is to click on the full set of fields. I.e., if there are 5 fields on the form, you can click on each field in the order you would like the tab progression to work and as long as you hit all fields, the new order will be set.

It sounds like you are referring to the tab order button on the ribbon. I was refrerring to the tab order list in the property box. Am I right, or have I misunderstood you?

I agree, there needs to be an OK button to save the changes...clicking the dropdown box again is definitely not standard behavior for saving changes. I believe that the new Tab Order property may have been added in SR2.
