V9: process map lost from solution?

Hi All,

 

I'm just wondering if anybody else has came across this.  I've been working on a process within V9.0.2 working out some integration issues and updating a particular form.  I've been having to restart the designer each time I needed to update a custom dll and as a result have been saving the solution many times during the day.

 

All had been going pretty well until I've just noticed I could no longer assign to a process data MBO. At first I thought I'd deleted the variables however I've just found out the that whole process has vanished from the solution and project!  I've tried re-creating the process using the original process name but the designer is refusing to accept it with the error "Name is duplicated within parent's context"

 

I thought  I'd re-load the backup that's also held in the solution folder as I can see the .process file held in that sub-directory but it's still not recovered correctly/

 

It's not a  biggy as I can re-create the last 3 days work but I'm worried why it's happened?

Ok some good news and a warning for others - this bug can be reproduced consistently and it always results in the process map being lost.

 

1) Load up the Metastorm Designer

2) Click New -> Project

3) Click on the components tab and select new script

4) In the inventory window rename the script "Process1" (This is the same name as the default process)

 

The process now disappears from the inventory tree.  If you save the solution now the process is lost

 

I suspect it may occur when you create other objects and rename them to the same name as the map - I just don't have the will to go through the other options  I'll submit this as a ticket to the help desk.
