Issue

• Even though the prequisite in Redist\\Microsoft .Net\\V3.5 SP1\\Hotfixes\\KB957661 has been installed, the installation of Metastorm BPM 9.0 fails and the following error message is seen:

  .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 hotfix is required

Resolution

• Create the following in the Windows registry:

  Key: HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Updates\\Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1\\SP1\\KB957661

  String Value Name: PackageName

  String Value Data: Hotfix for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (KB957661)
