Publishing BPEL Issue

Hi,

 

Once I create a model in ProVision, I want to export a BPEL out of it. Following are the steps I followed -

 

1. Interface > BPEL > Export

2. Selected Notebook and the models within it. Selected Generic BPEL as target tool

3. Checkboxes checked -

a. Selected the high level workflow

b. In Options, I checked 'Include nested models' and 'Generate as a single model'

4. Gave target BPEL path as C:\ProVision\BPEL4WS\Acorn Process.xml

 

But on 'Begin Export', no file gets generated.

 

Please guide me how to publish BPELs out of ProVision.

Hi Sriram,

How to export BPEL files using ProVision:
1. Go to Interface->BPEL->Export
2. At the dialog, select you source notebook and then your source model
3. At the Target Tool drop-down box, make sure Generic BPEL is selected
4. Click OK
5. Click the source provision model you want to export which will automatically populate the target file path box.
6. Click the Options button and put a check inside the "Include nested models" and "Generate as single process" boxes.
7. Click OK
8. Click "Begin Export"
9. You should receive a message saying your export was successful
10. Navigate to those files where they were saved to be sure they exported correctly

How to import your BPEL files into ProVision:
1. Go to Interface->BPEL->Import
2. At the dialog, navigate to your BPEL xml files where they were saved and select the file you want to import
3. In the "Enter new target notebook" box, it should automatically generate a notebook name with the model assigned to it.
4. Click "Begin Import"
5. A new notebook should appear with that model name.
6. Go to the model inventory in the imported notebook and view your model
