Create Folder from Email message?

V7 - Wondering if it's possible to have Metastorm monitor an email box and create a folder from an email message.  I've heard of this being done in the past but can't seem to find any info.

Yes that's possible, but normally you would have an external application monitoring the email inbox not Metastorm itself.  The MBPM ECL can be used to generate the folders upon receipt of the email messages.  

 

Metastorm offers a Process POD just for this purpose that contains a windows service application that can monitor a POP or IMAP inbox and generate new folders in the MBPM system.  It will also add selected data from the email message (i.e., Subject, Recipients, From, Date Received, Body) into the MBPM folder upon generation.
