Email - Check format

Is there a way within Metastorm BPM 7.6 to check so that the email string, entered in a Metastorm designed text field, is properly formatted?

If you are referring to an email address, you should be able to set an appropriate mask for the text field. I suspect the mask picker would have an example for emails.
