The MediaBin Server is not running. (0x8004043C)

I cannot able to login into MediaBin server.It shows the following error message.
"Unable to connect to server. Reason: The MediaBin Server is not running. (0x8004043C)"

When i check the MediaBin service , it is runing fine and even i have restarted the service,but it throws same error.

when i check the MBP.log file its shows the following information.

"Failed to obtain a database connection after 25 tries
ERROR: Repository could not allocate configured number of connections."

Help me to resolve this error.

MediaBin Version:4.5.2
Operating System: Windows 2000 Server SP4

Can you verify that the ODBC connection details are correct and you are able to test that connection?

On your server:

Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Data Sources ---> System DSN

Post your MB /OS/ DB version details

Try the following (MB 4.5.X)

Check your log files
MB Services
Check the MB services is running (from control panel)
Data Sources ---> System DSN
User your news password and try to connect the database
Restart the MB server

1) Stop the MB service.

2) In the Windows registry find the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MediaBin, Inc.\MediaBin\Platform\CurrentVersion\Repository

3) Set the key LocalOdbcPassword to the new password.

4) Restart the MB service.

The MediaBin service at start-up will encrypt the value in LocalOdbcPassword and store it (encrypted) in LocalOdbcPasswordEx and blank the value in LocalOdbcPassword.
