grouptask flow

Can anyone tell me how the grouptask should work. If i start a job for a group and someone takes the task, what should i and the others in the group se and be able to do? I am confused. Help

Is this a follow on from the previous post 2 days ago ?

the answer is it depends.

What will you see ? Everything you ask to. If I have my UI set to view all tasks or jobs, then I will see all tasks or jobs, including tasks owned by someone else.

If I have the UI set to view my tasks, then I will not see tasks taken by someone else.

What can I do ? If you are a master, then about anything, including transition (or perform) someone else's task.

this is a second post from 2 days ago...sorry

i have a workflow that has a grouptask that has admin and an editor in it. when the job runs, the admin can see the job with "All Jobs" and the editor can't see anything with "My Jobs" but when he switches to "all jobs" he sees it. Neither the admin or editor can see the job using "My jobs". What has to be set for anyone to view a job using "My Jobs"?

you have to be the job owner to see it in My Jobs. Is this not making sense ?

can you make a group the job owner ? is it based on the owner of the branch?

No it is based on how the workflow is written.

Do you really care about seeing the job?
Perhaps you should be more concerned about seeing the active task? (which was covered in some detail in the other thread)
