Can't reset TeamSite: ERROR: License validation failed (1): Bad file format

Any ideas?

I figured that maybe I saved the iw.cfg with some weird UTF-16 by accident or something, but I've recreated the file from scratch in notepad and saved it as a text-only file, but I still can't get TeamSite to come up.

The only thing I see is in the iwtrace logs, and it says:


TeamSite I18N initialization successful!

I searched for "bad file format" but the rock star devnet search filters out "bad" and "file", so I get a million posts about "visual format". Sigh.

Seems to be a license violation message. Is your teamsite license valid for unlimited use??

Check the TS.lic file for this information. It should be in iw-home/etc

If you are 6.5 SP3, then you are using the new license key, iw-home/etc/TS.lic and not the entry in iw.cfg
