File Transfer to Multiple targets using MIM Gateway concept(FTP Systems)

Hi,

 

I have a requirement where I need to transfer the file from source to multiple destinations consisting of systems supporting MIM nodes as well as MIM Gateway. One option is to use Destination List for multiple targets but this option can be used only for the systems supporting MIM nodes. Do we have any other way in which we can configure FTP(MIM Gateway) supported systems in Destination List. I tried including FTP Systems in Destination List but it does not work. Can you please let me know the suitable approach?

Currently, this functionality does not exist for the MIM Gateway. You can modify the provided source code, or contact our Professional Services to add this functionality.

 

One alternative is to create a batch script (windows .cmd file, UNIX .ksh or MVS/JCL) to submit the transfers in a batch. Although they will not be treated as an individual transfer group, you can populate fields such as "Document ID" so that you can view them together using filtering options in the Process Auditor.

 

You can also suggest an enhancement to the product.
