Custom properties
I want to create some custom properties that apply to objects in several notebooks (e.g. development, review, published).
Properties are created in Knowledge Exchange at the notebook level. Is there a way to copy the properties from one notebook to another or do I have to add each one to each notebook?

Hi Alison,
If you are using ProVision v6.2.x, then Custom Property information is stored in the Custom Property Configuration file. You can create one of these by doing the following:
Open the notebook with properties you would like to retain.
Go to Interface -> ProVision Custom Property Configuration -> Export to file.
Set a path you remember, and name your file and click Save.
Open a notebook you would like to apply these custom properties in.
Go to Interface -> ProVision Custom Property Configuration -> Import from file.
Select your file (and select Replace or Combine depending on what action you require) and click OK.
If you are using ProVision v6.1.x, then the custom properties travel with the data-set and the modeling language. So, if you had custom properties you wanted to share with another a data-set you would want to create a copy of your modeling language and apply that modeling language to your other notebooks/repositories.
Regards,
Matt Michael
