Cannot access TeamSite from web browser

I'm using TeamSite 6.7.1 on Linux. My Teamsite is starting without any problem.
But I cant access Teamsite from a web browser. what can be the problem ?

What error do you get on the browser? check the servletd logs.

Also try out http://servername:81/ - what do you get?

is your httpd up and running?

port 81 is running and im getting the apache home page.
I'm not getting any specific interwoven error. but I can access TS from same
Linux server. I can access from out side that machine.

Port 81 is the "customer web server" - which is used for previewing.

Port 80 should be the iwwebd web server - which is used for rendering the TeamSite GUI.

Is iwwebd running? Is it running on port 80?
If it's running, but on a different port, you need to include the port number in your url (e.g.: http://hostname-or-ipaddress Smiley Tongue

What shows apache ? http://server/ or http://server:81/ ? :81 should show apache, :80 should show teamsite.

What OS ? What rev of TS ?

In port 80 shows:
It Worked! The Apache Web Server is Installed on this Web Site!
If you can see this page, then the people who own this domain have just installed the Apache Web server software successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.

When was TS installed and when was Apache installed ?

I suspect that Apache was installed after TS and put on port 80.

You can either reinstall TeamSite and let it put Apache on 81, or you can try to manually configure Apache to port 81 and hope the TS configurations are still correct.

thanks. Works now. I just rebooted the box. that's weird.
