Hello,
I work with others tools, but I have problem with MIM (aka PM4data).
MIM divide the file (TXT) by bytes, but have problems with first line e last line.
Is it possible divide file by quantity lines? Only MIM or on PM4Data too?
Thanks.
Are you asking about when a file transfer is initiated and file is split into data messages? Can you explain your issue in more detail?
I don't work with MIM, I receive data messages.
You are right, it is about file transfer and split.
When occurs the split, the first and last line are lost.
This occurs after increase of 1 character to line in file.
Is it possible split file per lines instead of using the amount of bytes?
Thanks
When you receive your data messages, are you receiving them via MIM File To Message? This feature of MIM allows you to place the contents of a file into data messages. Depending on the parameters specified on the File To Message transfer, you can place either the contents of the entire file into one message or have one message per line. From the sound of the problem, my suggestion to you is to contact the Helpdesk at Meta-Helpdesk@opentext.com with your issue. They will be able to assist you with the correct parameters to specify for your File To Message transfer.
