How to make a new user see old folders

Is it possible to get a new user to see old folders on the to do list and watch list without having to rebuild the to do list for everyfolder?

No, that is not possible.  Your other option would be to use the "List Maintenance" administrative procedures to copy folders from User "XYZ" to the new User manually.

It should be pointed out that the List Maintenance smaple Administrative Process does not copy the folders as such, rather it simply copyes the alerts.

 

There are two options, to copy alerts or to move alerts from one user to another.  The move is simply a copy after which the orginal alerts are deleted.

 

It should be noted that the roles must have been granted to or modified to include the new user in addtion to carry out this activity.
