Teamsite and SVN

We are using both teamsite and subversion in our env. And i will say in terms of Versioining SVN is a better in some respects.

Here is a scenerio where we need help :

We have allot of Applications having tons of configuration files and tons of peopls changing those files at random times. Now using SVN we have a solution where we can install a svn client on those application servers and that client auto commits the changes to the SVN repository and even send out mail on what changed .

Now we want to do same with Teamsite or something similar and also is there any way we can send out a mail in teamsite when something changes in content store like what changes and who changed ?

Pls suggest.

Be careful what you wish for you might get it.

You can implement both of those with triggers.

However with the volume that you say you have I do not think this is a workable solution. The emails alone will get unwieldy.

Workflow is not difficult to use, why are you not using it ?
