Is there any command something like

now i need to import those in another folder which is on teamsite

those dcrs should retain their external attributes

how to do this?

I am not sure what you mean when you say you have DCRs on a local machine. But you can always copy them over the file system to Y drive or iwmnt and then apply EAs using iwextattr CLT. Support site has a sample script called recreate branch.

Are the files on the local disk of the TS server? or the local disk of a client machine?

For the first - you just copy the files into place (perldoc File::Copy is useful)

For the second - you'll probably need to use a file transfer program (FTP or similar) to transfer the files to the place where you want them on the TS server - and then you'll have to go to the server and run a script or something to set the EAs on the files to make them recognized as DCRs. I'd say use OpenDeploy with a DNR script - but that pre-supposes that you have OpenDeploy (base server or receiver) on the client machine where the files reside, which seems unlikely)

Alternatively - if you map a drive on the client machine to the TS server - you could probably use File::Copy to transfer the files that way too - but you still have the issue of running the commands to set the EAs on the DCRs after you've copied them into place. At one point there was a possible solution which involved making IWHOME share-able and mapping a drive to that and then providing an extra command line flag or environment setting that pointed to the actual server -- but it's been a looooonnnng time since I've even looked at that let alone tried to use it.

can any body pls pls guide me what is the vpath in the syntax of it?

the vpath is the path of the dcr

something like

/default/main/branch/subbranch/WORKAREA/data/templatedata/category/type/data/blah.xml

vpath does typically not include Y: or /iwmnt
